Satori is a unic piece of work that is a part of the “Gravity” set.
A broken circle is vertically crossed by a stainless steel suspension, enclosing a Klein blue blowed glass sphere.
Graphic, light, meditative, this work is aiming at both a brittle and powerful balance. Motionless but vibrant in an imperceptible way, it is stressing the inexorable presence of gravity.
Made with forming and welding on a steel frame, the wire mesh that encloses the glass sphere is one of the most difficult parts to realize. With every attempt of welding, the glass is well likely to break from the intense heat.
